For twenty years, Mikey the Juggling Elf has been warming hearts young and old with his dynamic thirty-minute stage show. He can enhance your gathering as a strolling entertainer on his unicycle, or impart his skill of juggling in the ever-popular juggling workshop. Mikey the Juggling Elf has entertained at corporate events, business parties, hotels, winter festivals, fundraisers, house parties and malls. The addition of this loveable character makes a good party a great party!

Fire Juggler
Mike Battie has been safely juggling fire for his audiences for 20 years. His specialty is the juggling of three torches, but he is also a master with flaming devil sticks, chains, and staff. Mike has choreographed and perfomed in large scale fire shows for the Pacific National Exhibition, as well as at Fairs, Festi vals, and numerous other events (including the North Vancouver Hose Reel Competition for the firefighters of the lower mainland of Vancouver). The absolute safety of his audience is Mike's highest priority, which he achieves by paying careful attention to procedure. He has worked extensively with fire on movie sets, television shows, and for commercials, accomplishing his tasks in some very tight situations.

Juggling Teacher
The most experienced juggling instructor in British Columbia, Mike Battie has personally introduced more than 10,000 people to the joy of juggling.

He began sharing his performance expertise in 1987 by becoming the resident juggling/unicycle/stilts instructor for Vancouver Cirkids. Mike spent four summers with the Ailanthus organization, teaching Street Performing skills as a vehicle for building self-esteem.

In 1995 he began training a group of Abbotsford youths to become the resident performers for the Western Canada Games in that city. This group of high-school students later went on to perform professionally with Mike at the PNE, Grey Cup Gala and in a movie.

Mike travels every year to Winnipeg and Saskatchewan to share his skills with kids in the C.A.M.P. and C.A.P. programs.

Mike has also instructed for the Vancouver School Board's Adult Education program, taught privately for schools, colleges, and corporate functions, and conducted workshops at Science World and a wide variety of festivals.

Little Snort the Wonder Horse
Mike conceived Little Snort to charm and entertain the crowds at the PNE Agrodome in 1998. Snort holds the honour of being the only nearsighted unicycle-propelled horse in the world!

Little Snort is sure to gallop his way into your heart but mind he doesn't nibble on your new sweater in his endless search for treats. This roving horse with rider Mike Battie is guaranteed to bring a smile to your lips and promises not to make a mess on your floor!
