SideStreet was formed several years ago by two veterans of the Vancouver live entertainment scene, Alex Whittaker and Frank Bond. Since the formation, SideStreet has built a loyal following of fans and supporters, drawn by the high level of entertainment. They often receive comments after a show regarding the relaxed and easy-going rapport with the crowd, the excellent level of musicianship, and especially, the quality of the vocals.

They are constantly told that most songs sound just like the original record. SideStreet features Alex Whittaker on guitar and lead/background vocals, and Frank Bond on keyboard, guitar and lead/background vocals. On drums and vocals, Peter Casola. Together, their talents are diverse enough to cover just about any artist with confidence, including Cher, Louis Armstrong, Sugar Ray, Ozzy Osborne and Alan Jackson!
The sound, along with their great vocals, always has everyone dancing from the first or second song. They are able to read a crowd easily and can tailor a song list to fit any age group.
